We are a friendly village tennis club based in Worplesdon,
just north of Guildford in Surrey.
We play on four courts at
the far end of Worplesdon Memorial Hall
playing fields, where we have a small club house and also share a
new pavilion
with the local football and cricket clubs. All four courts are equipped with floodlights.

for a map - our courts are marked by the red circle. Postcode for satnav users is GU3 3RF.
We have just finished implementing our second ambitious 5-Year Development Plan. Over the last few
years, the generosity
of a number of grant-awarding organisations and the fund-raising efforts of members have resulted
in a major expansion of
the facilities available to the Club.
New members, of all ages and standards, are always welcome.
We have no 'playing in' policy as we aim to provide a village amenity.
See our contacts page for how to get in touch with our Secretary or download our club leaflet,
which contains an application form.
The Club organises all sorts of
social and other events
to have fun and raise money to improve our facilities and help local charities.
Opportunities are available throughout the year for
competitive tennis, as we play in the
Aldershot and District League.
Regular coaching is available with Tim Seymour,
our LTA-registered coach.
We now have a well-established programme for
juniors, underpinned by a comprehensive
Charter for Junior Players.
The Club is affiliated to The Lawn Tennis Association.
This means that our members can apply for tickets to the
Wimbledon Championships each year.
